On November 06th, DIGEST held the newest session of our Coordinated PhD Seminars: «BibNOTES. El método de investigación documental.»
In this hands-on workshop, researchers and doctoral candidates from various fields came together to learn how to enhance their scientific research process—from critically reading articles to drafting their own papers. The main goal of the seminar was to introduce a systematic method to guide researchers through each stage of the research process. This was done using tools like BibNOTES, mind-mapping software, and optionally ChatGPT to support the writing process. Key competencies covered included understanding the different stages of research, effective note-taking, organizing information, and improving scientific writing with the help of technology.
